Malo Room 7
I've been looking at some online math games for our class and I stumbled across'Crazy Taxi'. I've been a little addicted to it, so I've decided to put it up on our blog. Let me know what you think. Be sure to read the instructions first. I'm sure you will all be better at it than I have been. ( I blame my new long nails, for my feeble attempts)
See you all tomorrow, remember we come to school with a smile and try our best!

Rugby - By Brayden
On a beautiful sunny day I woke up, pumped for training! This was my first training of the season. I took one step out of the door, and I was gone! "Oh no" I said to myself, slow down you're wasting your energy. So, I slowed down and my mum caught up. As I got to Waltham park I saw a group that looked like it had kids the same age. We walked up to them and asked if we were with the right people and they said "yes". We waited for more people to come. When more arrived we ran around the park twice. Next we sprinted to a tree and back. Man, was I puffed! My coach is called Rob, he's the best coach ever. I have made new friends, their names are Max, Toby, Cory and Harry. The best part was at the end, when we got the the gear. I love my Sydenham rugby shirt and jacket!

T Ball
This morning we had Hayley from Sport canterbury come and teach us T Ball skills. The children worked extremely well together. There was a lot of positive interaction and good willed competitiveness during the skills & game. We look forward to more T- Ball with Hayley.
Thanks

Marry you flash mob
We had some very sneaky children in the Senior Team last week. Last Wednesday some children thought it would be a good idea to "flash mob" Miss Dolarmore (Room 3 classroom teacher). This flash mob was performed in anticipation of her up coming nuptials, which took place last Saturday. Our whole school is was so excited for Miss Dolarmore and of course we wish her all the happiness in the world. There were many devices floating around in our lunch area last week. If you have Facebook you can click on the link and log in to view. I'll keep trying to hunt down some more footage that we can all see. We thank Brianna's Mum for sharing her footage with us. So I could post to our blog.
Thanks

House Fun Day! 28/2/14
Last Friday we had a House fun day. Mr Weaver (Rm 10) and Mrs Wheeler (Rm 6), with the help of the House captains and vice Captains. Organised a number of fantastic 'Top Team' type activities for our house groups. The purpose was to build team spirit and camaraderie. It was an amazing afternoon and we were so pleased that we managed to just get it in before the terrible weather hit. Please click on our scrapbook below and check out some of the photos of the day. More will be added as they come in.
Thanks
Rochelle
